I really enjoyed this book, because I feel like there was so much content in the book。I still feel like the characters are really well developed, and I especially like Agatha and Sophie's relationship。I particularly enjoyed hearing about the backstory of Cinderella and hearing how the story was different。I really enjoyed the romance aspect, because it wasn't sorely based around that。 I don't usually read romance books, but I enjoyed this one because that wasn't all it was about。I can't wait to r I really enjoyed this book, because I feel like there was so much content in the book。I still feel like the characters are really well developed, and I especially like Agatha and Sophie's relationship。I particularly enjoyed hearing about the backstory of Cinderella and hearing how the story was different。I really enjoyed the romance aspect, because it wasn't sorely based around that。 I don't usually read romance books, but I enjoyed this one because that wasn't all it was about。I can't wait to read the rest of the series!Happy reading! 。。。more

"For in the end, it was Evil's Dean who proved that sometimes Good isn't Evil's greatest enemy 。。。 but an unexpected friend。"Review Includes Spoilers:That was quite the rollercoaster。 There were times when I was so immersed in the book, but others when I wanted it to stop hurting my brain。 Either way, this was very enjoyable, and despite some things I didn't like, I would happily read this book all over again。I didn't like how repetitive the book became during the middle。 Sophie was always going "For in the end, it was Evil's Dean who proved that sometimes Good isn't Evil's greatest enemy 。。。 but an unexpected friend。"Review Includes Spoilers:That was quite the rollercoaster。 There were times when I was so immersed in the book, but others when I wanted it to stop hurting my brain。 Either way, this was very enjoyable, and despite some things I didn't like, I would happily read this book all over again。I didn't like how repetitive the book became during the middle。 Sophie was always going back and forth between being Good or being Evil。 Soon, I didn't want to read the sections in her POV because of her inability to make up her mind。 I know that was basically the whole plot, but it was very annoying to read。 And the ending when Sophie betrays Rafal made me sad because it seemed as if Rafal actually loved Sophie。I hated Tedros' personality to the point that I was rooting for Agatha whenever they got into their petty arguments。 He bothered me so much with his arrogant and entitled demeanor。 There was a point when I literally could not take it anymore, and I was just waiting for him to "accidentally" die。 The fact that Hester didn't care at all about her undead mother was either unrealistic or badass。 However, I am leaning more towards unrealistic。 This would have been a different story if she projected a bit of trepidation and then had overcome that to fight flawlessly in the war, but that isn't what happened。 Hester couldn't care less about her mother coming back from the dead and showed absolutely no feelings about it。 She also encouraged everyone to feel nothing towards these zombies even though they hold the faces of their enemies。 Slightly unrealistic for me。Why did everyone want Sophie to be alone and content with her best friends' happy ending, but when she finally was ok with that, they all question her asking if she's ok without a crown and a true love?! Do they want her to relapse? Do not remind the fragile former evil queen of what could have been。 That is just asking for trouble。 I feel that the book was trying to promote "the single life" for Sophie, but we were given subtle hints about Hort and Sophie's relationship and where it's going to go。 And at this rate, they are not staying friends。I absolutely adored Merlin。 Why did anyone ever doubt the most famous wizard of all time? He can make food appear out of his HAT and you guys are wondering if you're going to get your Ever After。 Just wow 。。。I found it funny that the School for New Evil was completely against Evil。 Ok, but when Lancelot completely called Sophie out about her ring, I was shooketh。Rating: 4 stars 。。。more

This book went in a few too many circles for my liking。 Though I did enjoy the backstory of Callis and Vanessa。

I loved this! I never expected the plot twists—it came at me at full force。 It broke me too, I remember 11 year-old me balling while reading the last parts of the book。

I realize that I never wrote a review for this, probably because I was having an off day when I finished this book, but it was really good!!! The plot was so good, the pacing was great albeit a little slow in the middle but nothing to take stars off or anything。 Good climax in the ending and I loved the twists and turns。 Really good characters, and a great world, but I really need a small break before jumping into the second trilogy。 Anyways, I'm really glad I got around to this series, it was j I realize that I never wrote a review for this, probably because I was having an off day when I finished this book, but it was really good!!!

Saya suka trilogy buku ini, menghibur, kocak dan sarkastiknya gak pernah ketinggalan。 Bacaannya juga ringan namun banyak pesan moral yg terselubung。 。。。more

3。5 stars。 It was a bit too long for me, and the back and forth with Sophie (good, evil, good, evil。。。) was tiring, but I really enjoyed the ending。 I really like Tedros and Agatha together because they don't make sense on the surface, but they really get each other。 And I'm glad we finally get to know the truth about Agatha's and Sophie's parents。On a side note, I don't understand why this isn't labeled as YA (at least my local library has it under adult fiction) since there are other YA's with 3。5 stars。 It was a bit too long for me, and the back and forth with Sophie (good, evil, good, evil。。。) was tiring, but I really enjoyed the ending。 I really like Tedros and Agatha together because they don't make sense on the surface, but they really get each other。 And I'm glad we finally get to know the truth about Agatha's and Sophie's parents。On a side note, I don't understand why this isn't labeled as YA (at least my local library has it under adult fiction) since there are other YA's with more violence。 。。。more

What a great conclusion to the first trilogy! Honestly, this book was a wild ride and not always in a good way。 However, it did fix the massive screw up that was the plot of the second book so at least there's that。 I see the point the author was trying to make, but to be honest the second book was completely unnecessary and this series would have been better as a duology。 All that being said, I was satisfied with the ending, but assuming the pattern holds, I'm expecting everything to go to hell in a handbasket in book 4 and I'm not sure I' Honestly, this book was a wild ride and not always in a good way。 However, it did fix the massive screw up that was the plot of the second book so at least there's that。 I see the point the author was trying to make, but to be honest the second book was completely unnecessary and this series would have been better as a duology。 All that being said, I was satisfied with the ending, but assuming the pattern holds, I'm expecting everything to go to hell in a handbasket in book 4 and I'm not sure I'm emotionally ready for that yet。。。! 。。。more
